about

Howdy Folks,
Here we are. I’ve become someone that no longer puts a whole lot of thought or effort into when or why I put out new music. I don’t do much promotion and in reality it doesn’t really matter anyway. I don’t play shows and there isn’t a huge market for the music I write and produce. I’m totally fine with that. I write and record because it brings me joy and if other folks dig it, well, that’s just a bonus. With that said I’ve got some new Frequency Collision’s music for you all. Allow me to share a little background on how this collection of music came to be….
Since April when my father passed I lost most of the desire and inspiration to write and record music. This is odd because I had never felt that lack of desire to create before. Creating was always my go to no matter what was happening in my life. So this was a very foreign feeling to me. Since I wasn’t really writing anything new I decided to revisit a lot of the tunes that I have that were unfinished. I have hundreds of song ideas that will sit in their little file on my hard drive that will forever be unfinished. I either lose interest in finishing them or I start another song that I have a stronger desire to work on. Anyway, after digging through a lot of these unfinished songs I unearthed 9 that, after further listening, seemed pretty close to done to me.
Still feeling that lack of creativity I made the decision to release these 9 songs as they currently stood. I guess I felt the need to do SOMETHING…to at least get some new music out into the world so I felt like I was accomplishing something and moving forward.
I usually have no idea what a song is going to look like or what it’s meaning is when I start writing it..I just write and see where the song wants me to go with it. After listening to these 9 songs I realized that they were a perfect illustration of where my head and heart have been for the past 4-5 months. With most of my tunes there is a wandering quality to them, and these tunes are no different. I titled this collection “Another Wandering Breeze”. Mostly because these songs have no destination or purpose other than to exist as they are. These are 9 instrumentals and if I were to make a recommendation I’d say throw on some headphones, find a comfortable spot, close your eyes and just allow yourself to wander with these songs.
As usual you can download them for free. As always, Thanks for listening.

-Ryan

Frequency Collisions is a one man performing and recording project that mixes multiple genres and sounds to create heady, textured, and sonically rich music. It's thought provoking music for those aimless drives with no particular destination. Much like those drives, Frequency Collision's music can often be perfectly
wandering.....and that's ok.
